Scones

Tools needed:
2 Large Mixing Bowls, Measuring Cups, Whisk, Plastic Spatula, Cookie Sheet
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (around 280g)
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup white sugar (60g)
5 tablespoons unsalted butter (around 90g)
1/2 cup dried raisins or craisins (I use 100g)
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup sour cream (I use 90ml = 0.38cups)
Preheat the oven to 200C or 400F
Sift the flour into a large mixing bowl. Add baking powder and sugar. Mix with whisk.
Soften butter and mix with milk and sour cream in a seperate bowl (electric mixer works best)
Stir raisins into bowl with milk, sour cream and butter.
Pour the dry ingredients into the bowl with the butter, sour cream, milk and raisins, stir until well blended
Place wax paper on a baking sheet and using a cookie scooper(looks like minature ice cream scoop)
scoop portions onto baking sheet and flatten lightly. Let the scones barely touch each other.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in preheated oven, until the tops are golden brown
Enjoy :-)
